Synergy Soccer is part of a larger organization called Ultimate Goal Ministries, a 501 c 3 non-profit organization, who's mission is to 'offer players HOPE and OPPORTUNITY that TRANSFORMS and EMPOWERS lives'.   Along with the Synergy Soccer League, Ultimate Goal organizes and coaches several club level teams (for which many of your children might eventually play), camps, clinics, etc...

Our 'target audience' if you will are those under-resourced players that without the opportunities we (and you) provide are unable to play any sort of organized soccer.  We have yet to turn away anyone for lack of financial ability to play soccer, and we plan on continuing being able to fund ANYONE who wants to play.   For those who ask, we do have a system in place to help determine financial need.

We support our league by asking our organizations donors for support, through the league fees (which compared to most youth soccer organizations are very reasonable), team sponsorships and the "Fill The Shoes" campaign.  League fees are but just a small portion of the funding it takes to run the league and cover our expenses (refs, line paint, uniforms, equipment, port-a-pot rentals, light rentals, sponsorships, etc...).    Your participation in the league actually helps those who could not afford to play.

Because of this unique approach some teams come into our league as 'complete teams' and bring their own coaches, jerseys, etc...  Groups such as Men of Valor, the Salvation Army, Kurdish Achievers, the various refugee groups, join our league as 'complete teams'.   That is primarily due to logistics, lack of transportation and/or support within their communities.  Sometimes that can give a slight advantage to those groups (but not always).   Not allowing them to join us as 'complete teams' would mean they couldn't play.

It is part of our DNA that we work with and support these various groups, attempting to bring folks together under the banner of soccer.  It is also a part of our DNA that our investment in young lives, bringing people from various walks of life together, in sharing 'Life Lessons", and creating community service projects are all ways we can tangibly bring positive change to our community.
