Matthew Smith : Bio

Matt is originally from Warsaw, Indiana. He grew up in a Christian home. He lived in Michigan, Alabama, and Indiana where his father was a pastor.

He first became interested in missions while at college. Matt was a Senior at Liberty University when his Spanish professor challenged him to go on a missions trip. Matt went to El Salvador with him where the Lord put missions and a love for Hispanic people in his heart.

After graduating from college, Matt worked for four years as a counselor for juvenile delinquents. He went on an Ultimate Goal trip in 1998 to France and God began to speak to him about full-time ministry. In 2000, he joined Ultimate Goal Ministries full-time. Matt feels that God has been so faithful to lead him into an area of ministry that is so fulfilling and effective.
