Participant from Sweden
I sure did some things that I NEVER thought I would do, like singing a capella in Brunnsparken with one other person. I have never considered myself to be able to sing... the dogs pretty much start howling when I sing... but at one point I found myself in front of a microphone in a park and I just sang. I had to block out all the people and just sing to God. I'm so glad He never said we have to sound pretty when we praise him. Just make a joyful noise! What a "stretching" experience! Don't worry, I didn't get prideful because, when we finished, one sweet lady in the crowd said, "I sure hope you play football better than you sing." I assured her that we did. Another funny thing is that a couple of weeks before we left, my youth pastor asked if I wanted to sing on the praise team, and I just kind of laughed. What happens when I get to Sweden? I find myself once again in front of a microphone with the rest of the team leading worship, once again making a joyful noise!

GOD BLESS!
